ABOUT
CrownCity Tuition is an after school tuition centre which offers support in Maths and English for students from KS2 through to A levels. Our mission is to provide your children with the necessary set of skills through which they can achieve their personal best.
In September 2014 a new and more demanding National Curriculum was introduced to local schools. From the Department of Education they announced the new requirements will better prepare the students for life in modern Britain. Undoubtedly the new curriculum puts more stress on both parents and their children as more advanced topics are introduced at an earlier age. This causes difficulties in the core subjects of Maths and English since competition for good grades has increased.
At CrownCity Tuition we help our students catch up with the new demands. We work to the highest standards and pride ourselves for the quality of our tuition sessions. Our centre is very modern and purposefully designed to offer realistic learning environment. We provide all the essentials for our students to learn and progress - from the highest quality study resources to the latest interactive digital equipment which makes our classes very active and efficient. All of us are very passionate about teaching and we are highly motivated to transfer our knowledge to our students.
It is important to understand that we do not leave your child's preparation to a computer software or a simlpe homework plan. Our professional teachers work closely with the students and allow plenty of time to explain the fundamentals and develop fluency. We have a very personal approach to every single student by teaching him or her how to become confident and indepenednt learner through a number of skills. Child Safety
Being a Child Worker is a demanding role which comes with particular obligations. Our priority number one is our students' safety. We make our best efforts to provide a safe and friendly environment where all the children make friends, have fun and master their skills.
All of our staff are CRB/DBS checked with plenty of experinece in working with children.
Our facilities hold the required D1 planning permission for Educational use issued by the Leicester City Council and we have a CCTV monitoring system installed in place.
For the parents' convenience we have parking spaces available or you can always enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in our reception while waiting for your child.
Our Staff
In the heart of CrownCity Tuition are the subject leaders who carry out the learning sessions. All of our tutors are certified to teach the relevant subject and have enviable qualifications and experience.
Our Maths Leader holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London; teaching is his passion as he works as a full time teacher in schools around Leicestershire.
Our English Leader holds a PhD in English literature from the University of Leicester; she has plenty of experience in teaching around the world and is currently teaching English in the University of Leicester.
